Hello, my name is Lisa Ann Treat. My life goal is to sing passionately for God with the hope that lives may be changed by his love.
Looking back at my childhood years I remember, at the mere age of two, standing on my family's Crock Well with a stick in my hand. (pretending it was a microphone and I was Della Reese.) During my High School years I was active in the resident Choir, Port Sanilac Arts Council and the Port Sanilac Choral Club. I made my Life commitment to Jesus in 1985, making it possible to discover a new found power and purpose for my music. My music now dynamically encompasses a variety of styles and effectively speaks to many generations.
In 1994 CDL Entertainment was created as my Production Company. My second audio tape, "Come Home" (1995), was cut using five songs from Word Publishing and three from an independent writer. I recorded my first full CD, "Streets of Gold", in 1999. The CD's opening song, "At the Well", went to number 35 on the Christian Music Charts and received strong radio airplay in the Southeast and Southern parts of the U.S.
Touring with my band, "Common Ground' (1998), I sang to crowds of all sizes. In Strathroy, Ontario (1999) est. 2,000 people. Chesaning Showboat Park, Michigan (2000) est. 10,000 teens in attendance. Belle Isle, Michigan (2000) est. 6,000 people in the audience.
Professionally recording my newest CD, "In His Presence" (2004), helped to raise the quality of my recorded music to new level.
I have worked with "Christian Happenings" magazine, Grace Bible Church in Marlette, Michigan. Bridge Builders Outreach of Grand Rap
ids, Michigan. The West Michigan Conference of United Methodist Churches. "Parents without Partners", TCT channel 54 on Michigan Alive, TCT channel 69 of Indiana.
I have been a member of the Gospel Music Association for
the past 11 years.
Benefit concerts: The Muscular Dystrophy Associatio
n, Lapeer Pregnancy and Teen Center, and "Christmas in July" (sponsored by the Caro Lutheran Men's Group).
